La DG INTPA (direction générale des partenariats internationaux) et les délégations de l'UE cartographient la présence, les problèmes et les demandes de soutien des entreprises de l'UE dans des pays clés.
Actuellement, des consultations d'entreprises de l'UE ont lieu pour les pays suivants : Angola, Ghana, Jamaïque, Laos, Malawi, Mozambique, Népal, Pakistan, Papouasie-Nouvelle Guinée, Timor oriental et Zimbabwe.
Ces consultations s'adressent aux entreprises opérant déjà dans ces pays ou bien qui sont intéressées pour entrer sur ces marchés.
Les entreprises de l’UE peuvent répondre en ligne sur le site sécurisé europa.eu. Leurs réponses aident la Commission européenne à encadrer les EU Business Forums, les dialogues public-privé et les programmes visant à soutenir l'engagement du secteur privé, le climat d'investissement et les échanges commerciaux.
Ces consultations auprès des entreprises sont des exercices internes à l’UE. Les réponses sont confidentielles et accessibles uniquement au personnel sélectionné de la Commission européenne.
